TEAL: Profile-Based Surprise Package

This swap is for a package of profile surprises in any and all gorgeous shade of aqua, teal, tiffany blue, etc. It's a fun challenge, and a chance to go shopping for someone else and KNOW that they'll absolutely love what you get them and be excited by the surprise. Also, how cool will it be to open up your package and feast your eyes on that tumbling cascade of teal goodness chosen especially for you?!

Before partners are assigned:
In order for it to BE a surprise, and give your partner the fun of a real shopping experience, please double-check your profile and make sure you have LOTS of options for themes and types of items you'd love to receive. If you have an etsy favorites list or Amazon or other wishlist, feel free to post a link either on your profile or below to help your partner get a good idea of the sorts of things you like.

Once partners have been assigned

1. Go to your partner's profile page and do some in-depth research. Read the whole profile. Is there a link to etsy or other wishlists? Check these out for inspiration to see what kinds of things your partner likes. Diligently regard and avoid any dislikes.

2. Now, you get to go shopping for your partner! The item(s) you choose should total $10-$12 BEFORE shipping costs. If you're buying online rather than in a local shop, you can often get a bargain on shipping if you buy more than one thing from the same seller. Online sellers will often agree to ship directly to your partner, and add a note if you request it.

3. Include at least three surprises, more if you like! Good quality handmade items are great as well IF your partner specifically states that s/he enjoys receiving them. All items should be in new or like-new condition, and of course in our group colors :)

4. Send out your package with tracking, and send your partner a message with the tracking number. Tracking is included for first class and priority rate packages through the USPS. If you are shipping direct to your partner from a third party:

Please let your partner know once you've paid and their package is shipped, and also if more than one parcel is expected, though you can keep the items themselves a surprise.

All group members must have well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated a "1" for a no-send.

Be sure to include a note with your name, your partner's name, and the name of this swap. You aren't required to wrap the gifts (though that would be sweet), but please be sure the swap is packaged in a manner such that it will not be harmed in transit.

Please rate anyone a 5 as long as these criteria are met. Hearts are of course at your own discretion.

There will be plenty of time to update your wishlist before partner assignment, and two full weeks to shop once partners have been assigned; however, please do not sign up if you can't make your purchases and ship your package out by the send-by date.
