I’ve decided to make this swap for Australians only…not that I don’t like the rest of the world, but here’s why and what it’s about… So I thought we could do a swap of a handmade item and just do it locally because - a) you can put anything in there without getting hassled by Customs b) I love hooking up with other Australian (local) crafters and swappers c) the postage is much cheaper, so this give people a chance if you make big things like softies or journals. So please make something for your partner…handmade and tailored to their taste please. Obviously I expect everyone’s profile to be filled out so that you can check out your partner’s likes, blog, Flickr, etc. to get some ideas. Feel free to include any extras that you think they might like, but remember the swap is for at least one quality handmade item, so you might not get any extras in return. Flickr page for this group is http://www.flickr.com/groups/aussieswap/, so when you receive your items in the mail, please post photos of it in the group. Please remember, when you receive your package in the mail to let the person who sent it know. Just a little e-mail, comment on their blog or a thank you to let them know you appreciate them coming through and that you received it. And don’t forget to do your swap-bot rating too. And remember swap karma – give what you’d be happy to receive. Again, I’m going to monitor this one quite closely, because I want happy swappers!
