Just for Fun Postcard Swap #4

I love postcards...I just love getting mail that isn't "bills"!!!lol

I would love to see more of these with less partners each! That way I don't always get the same people, or have to write more than three postcards in one 'swap'/week... There is a limit to how interesting my life is. ;)

If you have specific questions relating to this particular swap after reading the FAQ, come on back and post away and I'm sure you'll get a ton of answers. We are a chatty bunch :-)

My postcards are in the mail. Same configuration as last time, 5 US 1 International.

Mine are on the way to toryam (MS), analog (Canada), Nina C (Ireland), ordinaryangel (MI), itsoksweety (RI), and Jellybelly (Sweden). I hope they arrive safely and soon!

Hi Everyone, I sent the rest of mine out today.

I sent all 6 of mine today.

Mine went yesterday, one Italy, one Canada and the rest to the United States. They came from what is advertised as the happiest place on earth

mine will be gone this afternoon to all over the world!!!!!

Well.. Mine are on the way!!! I sent them on Friday from Florida. 5 are heading to the U.S. [CA (2), KS, NC, and TX ] and 1 down under to Australia!

Since it was Just for Fun, I also used some of my smaller stamps too ...

If I send a card from the US to Chile, do Ineed to fill out some sort of form for it? The person @ the post office gave me a 75 cent stamp to send it. But that was it.

RudeNun, no. You do not need to fill out a customs delcaration form for a postcard. Just the correct amount of postage which it sounds like the postal clerk sold you.

Never been mooned via mail before :o) LOL, the butterflies are just lovely, and I really liked the back of th e card as well! The Kennedy Space Center card was really cool too, imagine how much we learn by sending these cards hey, and how many places we get to visit!?

I got a very funny "White Gold" postcard from someone in Mississippi with a skeleton joke on the back. Unfortunately the postal monster tried to eat the area right where your name and aka are so I can't make them out. Anyway thank you, I really liked the joke and thought that was so clever to put it on the postcard. Thank you.

I'm very new to this site and this was my first swap. Have had to wait for prompts to find out how to do things but have received my beautiful cards from my swap partners. Thank you all so much, it was lovely to get home from work to such lovely greetings. My cards were a couple of days late going out as I couldn't find what I wanted so had to make them. Hope they are starting to arrive.

It would be nice if people would hold off rating others as a no-send, sometimes it takes up to two weeks (or longer) for mail to arrive, especially when it's coming from another country. Also, it is helpful to send someone an email asking if they sent it. Just a suggestion. I found 9 times out of 10 that people who say they send things, actually do. Things do get lost in the mail, so give the other person a chance to send another just in case that is what happened. I know from experience, I've had more than one thing get lost in the postal system.

I've not had much fun on Swap-Bot of late but tonight I got the most wonderful comment in the rating from one of my partners in this swap. It reminded me of why I love sending stuff to people. Amazing what a simple postcard can do.
