Description:

I'm hosting a Happy Mail swap in the main forum, but not allowing newbies in that one. So I thought I'd give the group a chance to do a little happy mail as well. Sound good? :)
I saw through a you tube video that face book is stealing our thunder - they are hosting happy mail package swaps! How dare they? :) So let's take our swapping community back!

This swap is International - keep that in mind when choosing items, and when you sign up. It can be costly to send outside your own country. You can always check with your post office for a fee rate for International swaps. But I'm doing this as a flat rate swap, so hopefully it won't be too costly, and will be FUN!

You will have one partner to send to. While this swap isn't completely profile based, you need to check your partner's profile for a list of likes and dislikes - you are sending HAPPY MAIL, so you want to send them something they will like.

You will put together a flat envelope weighing around 2-3 ounces (US) of items your partner would like. These can be new or handmade - if that's ok with your partner, according to their profile. Because I'm allowing hand made items, I'm not going to put a dollar amount on it.

Some ideas off the top of my head (but not limited to!!): **new or used postage stamps, **new post cards your partner would like, **a stationery set (2 letter sheets with matching envelope), **sticker sheets, **ATC's, **notecards with matching envelopes, **washi samples, **pocket letter, **recipes, **items for your partner's family or pets, according to their profile, **bookmarks, **adult coloring books, **factory sealed tea bags or coffee samples ~~You get the idea.

This is also a GREAT chance to take a look at YOUR profile - do you have these types of items on your list? Do you have a variety of things you like - and don't like for your partner to choose from? Have you listed allergies?

So, a recap:

International 1 partner 2-3 ounces (US) of HAPPY flat mail to your partner items your partner would like, based on their profile handmade ok, if neat, clean and well made decorate the outside of your envelope. You want to smile when you mail it, and for your partner to smile when they receive it! 2 weeks from sign up to mail by date. Don't mail late!! check with the post office for proper postage and any customs forms that may be necessary and, as in all of my swaps: Thank you note to mail carrier on the back of the envelope, After all, without our mail carriers, we wouldn't have happy mail! :)

Open to all group members with a 4.98 or above rating, sign up within 3 days of sign up date (so I can see you're still active!), have a well filled out profile, with at least 1 rated type 2 swap. Anyone with concerns for swappers who have signed up, please send me a PM about it.

If you have any questions or concerns, please send me a PM - I'll see that much faster than comments listed below.

Let's have FUN and send some HAPPY MAIL!
