RM: Nauti(cal)-Envelope: Flat(ish) Themed Items!

I saw this swap being hosted publicly by @MrsBottomley and reached out to her to ask if she minded if I hosted it here in our lovely little group with my own verbiage appended. She said, "Not at all!" so, all credit for the swap idea to @MrsBottomley - and now, on to the swap!

It's the last day of August and for some reason, whenever August begins to draw to a close, my thoughts turn to the Atlantic. This always seems like the perfect time in the season to look one last time at the summer's ocean before she turns grey and wild once more.

With that in mind, let's swap some nautical and/or ocean themed things! For this swap, we're going to fill a regular sized envelope with flat(ish) themed items.

Swap Requirements

1 regular, letter sized (not letterset - standard letter size!) envelope that contains at least 5 nautical/maritime/ocean/sea life themed flat(ish) items to 1 partner. Include a note or swap card with the swap and your username as well please!

Theme

• Anchors

• Sea Life

• Ships

• Nautical compasseses

• Mermaids

• Seascapes

• Seashells

• Lighthouses

Basically, the ideas are almost as limitless as the depths of the ocean, as long as the items have something clearly to do with the ocean/sea/nautical/maritime theme.

Items Some ideas of things to include:

• Stickers (minimum 5 thumbnail sized stickers count as one item. Large or very large stickers may also count as one, but they should be exceptional in quality and size to do so)

• Nautical/ocean life shaped brads or other embellishments

• Charms

• Usable themed papers (must be at least ATC sized, and if using papers, 5 sheets counts as ONE item)

• Notecards

• Stationery

• Postcards

• An ATC made by you

Again...ideas are limitless.

The Administrivia

• 1 envelope with a minimum of 5 nautical/maritime/ocean/sea life themed items enclosed to 1 partner.

• I reserve the right to ban anyone who has recent 1s or 3s, or has not been rating for swaps received.

• This should not cost you more than 2 stamps (domestic or international) if mailing from the US. Therefore, it is open as an international swap.

• Items must be new or in new condition. Do not send wrinkled, crumpled, dirty, torn, smelly, or pet hair covered items.

• If you receive an envelope that contains at least 5 themed items and it was sent on time, please ensure that you rate a 5. Sending late without communicating with your partner may earn you a 3. Your partner is within their right to rate you as such. Hearts are always at your own discretion.

• I'm sure that this won't be an issue, but if you flake on this swap, you will be removed from the group. If you are flaked on, let me know. I will angel the swap after you rate the appropriate 1.

• If you find that you're going to be late sending, communicate with your partner and please do give me a courtesy head's up.
