Description:

For all Literature/Movie Lovers!! (Or not so, but in the mood of creating something) I Invite you to contribute to a collective story. (You can imagine a movie) I Will post the argument of the story and You will have to choose or create a character and send each partner a paragraph invented by you. At the end, you will recive different parts of the story, sent by all your partners and you can make your own story. Very entertaining! Doesn't matter the extension, it could be a couple of lines, a paragraph, a complete chapter, its on your way. If you want to choose more than one character its on to you too. Every style its accepted: drama, comedy, thriller, 1st or 3d person, etc. Let's have fun!

THE ARGUMENT: There is a middle class building, where many people live as a community. Different kind of people, different personalities, different ages. In the 5 floor lives a girl about 27 years old, who doesn't have many relations with her neighbours. Some days has passed, and nobody have seen her. Some neighbours are afraid something happened to her. Others think that maybe she is on vacation, taking holidays or something. Other think maybe she committed suicide. Nobody knows, and nobody still wanted to ask.

YOUR JOB: You will have to choose a neighbour or create a character and tell what you want to do, inspirated in the argument. Could be every age, genre, occupation. Neighbour, concierge, gardener, police, as you wish. You are free to create!

REQUIREMENTS: - You will have to send a paragraph to each partner (could be the same text or not) - Text could be every extension, since a couple of lines to a entire chapter. - You can choose more than a character if you wish, but it's not an obligation. - As an international swap, text could be wrote in every language. Try to send it as an editable text, so we can translate the text. - Its open minded story. You can write what you want. - We all will have to edit the text to make our own story, so when you sign up the swap you allow your partner to edit (maybe) part of your text in view of making a coherent/consistent story.

PD: Sorry my bad english, I speak spanish :P

Welcome to the swap!! You can start to write right know!! :D

Edited: I waited more time to see if more people sign up the swap, but it didn't happen. So, I changed the number of partners to 3.

So as a character, we write what we think has happened to the 27 yr old girl in the 5th floor apartment. Does this story, then have a second round, then third round etc? to keep the story growing? Each person sending their received story so far, and adding to that text another paragraph. Is that the aim of the email? if so, that is an excellent game we used to play at parties in my youth (i am way in my 50's) the funny or sad or desperate is very amusing to read as each person takes a turn.

Its a good idea! But this swap its about 5 different characters who will send you their part of he story at the same time. You wont have to wait to receive a paragraph to make your own. You will have create your story with the 5 characters you will received. If you want do it, thought. And you dont have to write about the girl necesarily. You could write about what you were these days, what you were doing, what you think about other neighbours and so. Its completely open. (Im still thinking abot your game. But I dont know how could be with this partners sistem)
