Going Green in 2009: Reusable Handmade Bag

The start of a new year is always a time of reflection on the past year and thinking about improvements for the next year. So let's resolve to go a little "greener" in 2009 with some reusable grocery bags. As group members, we surely all love food, so let's do our part to be a little more eco-friendly when we're grocery shopping and minimize using plastic bags!

You will:

• Have 1 partner

• Mail 1 handmade, reusable shopping bag

• I've left plenty of time for your bag to be sewn after partners are assigned. For those who don't sew but would like to receive a handmade bag, it's also acceptable to purchase a nicely handmade bag to send to your partner. Etsy is a great place to find cool reusable bags. :-)

• Send a little note with your package to make it a little more personal!
