Yes, I'm obsessed with covers. You too? Here's one more CD mix with just covers. For this one, let's create a CD for 2 partners with 20 songs:

10 songs are covers that are very, very similar to the original. You might not even be able to tell the difference!

10 songs are covers that are very, very different from the original. Like Tiny Tim doing "I Got You Babe" by Sonny & Cher, my favorite cover of Dolly Parton doing REO Speedwagon's "Time for Me To Fly", or the very cool new Glen Campbell covers CD.

ETA: if 20 songs don't fit on your CD, just make the CD half and half or fit in what you can.
