Sad Song: Short Fiction

Do you have a favorite sad song, the kind where the couple breaks up but one vows to never stop loving the other? Just one of my favorites is The Last Song by Edward Bear.

Look up the song, listen to it a time or two, and then imagine that couple ten years later, meeting once again. How does that meeting play out? Write at least a 100 word short story describing their encounter.

You'll have one partner and a whole three weeks to listen, cry, and write. I made this a type 3 because of the creative work involved. Please also include the name of the song you chose, and the artist.
