Bible Study ~ Thanksgiving (gratitude)

This is a Bible study on gratitude. Send these questions and your answers to your partner via regular mail. Not required, but feel free to include extras your partner would like. Just be sure to have correct postage.

1. Why should we be thankful for each day? (Psalm 118:24)

2. Why do we pray over our meals? (1 Timothy 4:4)

3. Give two reasons why we should give thanks? (1 Chronicles 16:34)

4. Read Ecc. 3:12-13. Name some "good things" God has blessed you with. Take some time to thank Him today.

5. 1 Thessalonians 5:18… In ____________________ give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

6. Who did Paul give thanks to? Why did he thank Him? What was Paul’s testimony? (1 Timothy 1:12-13)

7. How are we to pray, according to Phil. 4:6?

8. Read Psalm 136. Why should we give thanks to the Lord?

9. Read Proverbs 31. What is the attitude that this woman’s children and husband have towards her? Would you say they’re grateful for her?

10. Read Phil. 1:3-11. Why was Paul thankful for the believer’s in Philippi?
