RM: The ABCs of Us

Let's get to know one another a little bit better! I stole this idea from the ABCs of Us game I've seen in the Public (and a couple of group) Forums here on the 'Bot, and I thought it would be fun to put together as a swap in letter form!

For this swap, we'll write a list letter outlining the ABCs of ourselves. The catch is that you can't just put one or two word answers, but rather, flesh out your response.

For instance, for myself, I might put A: Autumn. Autumn is my favourite season because...[and then I'd go on to talk about Autumn].

B. Beach! [And I'd talk about my favourite beaches, beaches I've visited, why I love the beach, etc.]

Make sense? Good!

In addition to your letter, please add a small, flat, loosely-profile based surprise for your partner. This does not need to cost more than one stamp (domestic or international) to send, but if you want to go way above and beyond, that's on you.

The letter should be written on decorated stationery, or plain paper that you've added washi or stickers to.

In a Nutshell:

• 1 ABCs of us letter to one partner.

• The letter should be well thought out (no one word or one line answers please), and provide an "About You" for each letter of the alphabet.

• Include a small, flat, loosely profile based surprise for your partner. This means that you read their profile and avoid sending them anything they're allergic to or have listed as a dislike. Try to find something in your stash (or feel free to buy something) that you think they'd love and be happy to use. Items must be new or in like new condition.

The Administrivia

• Include your username and the swap name in the swap.

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.

• If you flake, you will be removed immediately from this group.

• If you are flaked on, let me know. I will angel this swap after you rate a 1.
