Hello! Thanks for checking out this swap. The purpose of my creating this particular theme is twofold; for it to be educational, and to have some BDSM ATCs added to my collection. This is #2 of a series. Please note that this is an adult swap and may contain nudity, sexual and/or BDSM acts, and adult language.

BDSM is a sexual practice, lifestyle, and a community in which participants may partake in one or any combination of bondage and discipline (BD), dominance and submission (DS), and sadism and masochism (SM). Not everyone who participates in BDSM combine it with sex or see their activities as oppressive. As a matter of fact, most community members are found to be of higher intelligence and more psychologically sound. I could go on and on about the research as a pro-sex feminist academic, and I'll gladly share my research with you if you'd like. Just PM me.

Although BDSM has become semi-normalized in American society due to literature and film, such media outlets receive heavy criticism from the BDSM community. This is due in large part for the lack of following the strict code of Safe, Sane, and Consensual practices; a staple of the community and those who practice BDSM.

Finally! For the fun stuff! The second ATC of this series will focus on a toy or tool used for BDSM play. This can be an item used for impact play such as a flogger, crop, paddle, cane, bare hand, something used for medical play such as needles, forcepts, wartenberg pinwheels, or sounding kits, or sensory play such as fire, ice, feathers, a violet wand, etc. You may include a person/people/body part and/or text along with the item but it is not a requirement. Consider hand drawing, stamped images, embellished digital images, die cuts, watercolor, acrylic, ink, markers, flat sequins/brads, glitter, embossing, text, or any medium combination. The only requirement is that it is standard ATC size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches and you do NOT use only stickers.
