• Pick two colors, any two colors, and put 7 different items that are predominately one color in each of two envelopes. Add your name and the name of the swap on a piece of paper.

(some examples of things you can send; postcards, labels, stickers 1in/2.54cm or larger, ribbon, lace, Washi, buttons, paperclips, napkins, doilies, etc)

This is a chance too to get rid of a color you do not like if you have 7 different items. Think creatively.

• Seal the envelopes and wait.

• When the time comes send one envelope to each of your two partners.

Do not worry that the person receiving it may not like the color. They can use it to make their next Magpie tag, page or even use it in their journal as an example of what they do not like.

Since I like greens and browns I ALWAYS have plenty of green and brown but if a swap calls for yellow or orange I have to scramble to find something to use.
