Hello fellow zine lovers! Let's spread some amazing zines with this new, monthly swap series. In the first round of the amaZINE swap you will send a zine made by yourself that has this topic: FAIRY TALE. The craft: a zine A zine is a tiny hand-made magazine. The original zine is reproduced with a photocopier. (see the swap-bot glossary for more details) In this swap we create an 8-page-zine made out of an A4- or Letter-sized paper sheet. How to fold and cut the zine is explained here: http://mentalbistro.tumblr.com/post/69609655909/8-pg-zine-from-a-single-sheet-of-paper To illustrate the zine you can write, doodle, paint, mix a collage, use stickers, washi, die cuts, photographs and whatelse comes to your mind. Get inspiration online. Postage costs are low, but the effort is high. Create something you would like to receive! The topic: fairy tale Create a zine about traditional or modern fairy tales or write and illustrate your own fairy tale. The swap requirements: You will have three partners and send each partner one copy of your zine. You will keep your original. You have two weeks to send the zine. Make sure to add a note with your swap-bot ID and the swap name. I will review each swapper and will ban questionable swappers, swappers with incomplete or brief profiles and anyone that has low ratings or unresolved swap problems. Newbies with very well filled out profiles are welcome. Rate your partner a 5, if you have received a fairy tale themed swap, no matter, if you like it or not. Try to solve problems together and contact me for help. I will angel, if you have to rate a 1. Any questions? Feel free to post in the comment section. Happy swapping! |
