Pixelate Your Photo

Let's indulge our eyes in blocks of color. Take one of your own digital photos and use an editing program to pixelate it so much that you're left with colored squares rather than an image of the subject(s) originally pictured. Your partners shouldn't be able to detect the original image in the pixelated photo--the focus should be on the colors instead. You may need to play around with pixel size and/or pixelate the same photo multiple times to eliminate traces of the original image.

Of course, feel free to adjust saturation, brightness, contrast, etc. as well.

Different photos look better in different sizes, so you can choose the size of the print for your photo.

It doesn't matter whether you print your photos at home or send them out to be printed--but please make sure that the print quality is good.

And just so we're all on the same page: send your photos by post and in an envelope, not by email or as a naked postcard.

Other details: 1) No unrated swappers or folks who have done only electronic swaps. 2) Swappers with a rating below 4.90 will be dropped before partners are assigned. 3) I may drop swappers whose profiles or ratings raise concerns when I look at them; if there is something you'd like to explain about your ratings and/or sending history, please contact me in advance.
