Let’s represent a week of our lives using washi!

The Inspiration

I saw a few swaps that asked participants to share photos, postcards, or other items that represented a day or week in their life. I thought it would be fun to do something similar with our washi tape collections.

The Swap

• You will have one partner for this swap.

• Daily, for seven consecutive days, choose one washi tape that represents your day. The sample may represent something you did, something that inspired you, something you saw...anything.

• You can choose any seven days as long as you send by the send date. You can begin preparing this swap before the sign-up date if you wish.

• Each day, write a few sentences that explain why that day’s washi sample represents your day. Be sure to add your username and the swap name somewhere on your letter!

• Send the 7 samples and the letter to your partner.

• Each sample must be at least 18 inches (approximatly 46cm) and be wrapped around a playing card (or similar) that the tape will not stick to.

• No more than 1 skinny tape (less than 0.2 inches/0.5cm wide).

• No plastic deco tape or duct tape.

• If your are unsure of what to send, consider what you hope to receive and choose accordingly.

Restrictions

• All group members are welcome to join. However, I will be checking profiles for late swaps and recent 1’s and/or 3’s.

Rating

• Please rate a 5 if you receive 7 different washi samples and a letter from your partner.

• As this is an international swap, please allow time for shipping.

• Please message your partner first before rating a 1.
