My sample is shown above in green. This swap will cap at 10 participants. Hello! Welcome to a Uniquely Me Swap. This series of swaps has allowed each one of us to explore our own uniqueness through creativity and sharing. I hope have enjoyed it! I have. And if you’re just joining us, I hope you’ll find it enjoyable. For this swap you’ll need two sheets of lined, unlined or blank paper. These are to accommodate one week (seven days) of quick journaling. You’ll fold each sheet into fourths (1/2 one way, then again). I’ll put a photo above. We’ll be writing on only one side of each sheet. So in the top left section (first sheet) write the date, swap name and your username. Introduce yourself to your partner... a short note. On the other three sections you’ll date them for the first three days of journaling. On the second sheet you’ll date them with next four dates of journaling. In each section at the end of the day please write something positive. If it was a rough day, share what positive, meaningful lesson you learned from it. You can share good news, or something hopeful or grateful. There’s much evidence that being optimistic and grateful can open our hearts to better outlooks on life. You CAN draw in each section, add a sticker, write a quote, rubber stamp an image- up to you. At the end of the week, fold them up and they’ll fit nicely in a greeting card sized envelope. You can read your partner’s profile to add an extra if you’d like or to be encouraging. It’s nice to add a few words to show you share interests. Please start journaling the night that is the signup deadline and mail by the swap deadline. Rate a 5 if directions followed. A heart is your choice. Please add your username and swap title to the envelope for ease of rating. I hope this simple journal format is fun and insightful. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with your partner. Your uniqueness is appreciated! |
