Upcycle With Kind Words

It feels so good when someone says something kind to us. It's like a breath of fresh air. So, let's pay it forward.

For this swap . . You will make (1) paper popper using a toilet paper tube, add some kind words, a couple of surprises and send it to your partner.

Suggested ways to cover the paper tube: paper, fabric, felt, crepe paper or a combination of them all. Cut your paper/fabric an inch or two longer then the tube so when finished you can tie it closed with something like ribbon, string or yarn. Add some embellishments'

Neatly write/type (7) of your favorite quotes or share some encouraging words of your own, writing one quote on each of the (7) strips of paper. Include thoughts that encourage, strengthen and empower.

When finished fold each strip of paper in half and number them 1-7. Place the strips inside the tube. It will provide a week's worth of encouragement or save them for a time when life sends you a challenge.

Now add a couple of surprises (senders choice) Suggestions: craft supplies, tea, charms etc. Send something you would like to receive.

Once you have all the parts inside the tube and tied the ends closed, place it in a bubble mailer (to protect it).Place a notecard in the mailer with the name of the swap and your username.

Check your partner's profile for dislikes and allergies.
