A suggestion from DRMOM – a challenge similar to the Color Throwdown Challenge (https://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/search/label/Challenge) – but since we don’t want to TOTALLY copy them, we can call this swap (and maybe future ones): The Color Palette Swap!

So, we will provide a small selection of colors that must be used on your card. In celebration of New Year’s, lets make it to celebrate 2019 and add some fun boldness to our colors and go with a palette of bright hits of pink and turquoise to go along with the traditional gold shimmer. Neutrals (black, gray, white, kraft, cream, and brown) are free, so use them as you need to complete your card. Feel free to use metallic paper, shimmer paper, or anything that fits the color palette!

Details:

This swap will have you sending to one (1) partner.

Send your partner (one partner) one handmade card, any size (EXCEPT: minimum size of 3”x5”) and any shape, using any elements you want – but must use the colors of the Palette colors provided! (Pink, turquoise, gold, and don’t forget the neutrals if needed)

Design –The Color Palette Swap, colors – lets celebrate the beginning of a new year – 2019! Wish your partner a happy new year!

One partner – It will be a great year, so share with your partner what you are looking forward to in 2019, your plans, goals, and anything that comes to mind!

Decorate, embellish, layer, be creative!

No sticker slapping; no late sends, and rate upon receiving. Please do not send extras unless your partner’s profile indicates that they like “extras”. This must be a handmade card by YOU. Use your creativity and use those colors!!!
