Hello Stranger, Hello 2019

Write out a handwritten 8.5x11 2-paged letter (or an equivalent of it) to a complete stranger (before partners are assigned)

Your letter should include at least these three parts (but feel free to add more!)

1 - Introduce yourself - how would you introduce yourself to a stranger and what parts of your life would you be comfortable telling a total stranger?

2 - Summary of you 2018 - any highlights? lowest points? any big news? what was memorable to you this year?

3 - Hopes in 2019 - what are your plans for this coming year (big or small)? what do you wish to accomplish?

The longer the letter the better. Sometimes it is easier to talk to strangers anyways, don't you think?

To make it this a Type 3 Swap, go ahead and throw in a little something you want this stranger to remember you by. If you are into rock-art maybe throw in one of your creations, if Kitkats are your favorite, throw one in and maybe your swap partner will think of you each time they see Kitkats on the stalls by the cash register.

And lastly, for the heart, please decorate your envelopes. Get crafty with it as much as you can. Stickers, hand lettering, etc.

So you are to send: 1. A long enough handwritten letter with the three parts mentioned above 2. Something from you to them, to remember you by 3. (optional) Mailed in a decorated envelope
