Make an Image CD of Your Best Epherma

I love swapping images and other ephemera on here but I know nobody ever sends the best stuff from their stash. So I got a great idea for a swap that allows you to keep your favorite stuff AND share that too!

Everybody scans at least 50 images and saves them to a CD (they must be in JPG format).

This does NOT mean that you have to scan fifty separate pieces. Instead, you can put lots of images on one page so long as they aren't overlapping. I think it will take about 10 scans so there will be 5 images that are the size of a sheet of paper to fill the scanner bed. If you have questions about this, ask in the comments.

Scan your favorite old photographs, magazine clippings, artist images, scrapbook supplies, stickers, postcards, wrapping paper, cancelled stamps, vintage images, victorian art, etc.

Then when we get our CDs we can use them for digital art (cards, website design, or scrapbooking). Also, we can print them for ATCs, fatbooks, collages, scrapbooking, modge podge projects, stickers, stencils, anything!

The best part is that there is no excuse to scan your FAVORITE stuff. The bestest images you have, the pieces that are too nice even for YOU to use, scan those! This is a very cheap project and will only cost your time and the blank CD.

Also, you can of course keep scanned copies of your images to use in your own projects too :P

There are two participants so you can just burn two copies of the CD. Also, because this is not meant to be personal to your partners, you should get started scanning ASAP so you're ready when the swap ends.
