I'm looking forward to participating in this swap. I've participated in two 4X4 chunky book swaps before, but never an on-line ATC swap. Lisa you have creatively inspired me. Thanks.

I am very excited to participate in this swap! I have been in at least a half dozen online swaps & I even followed through with the commitment on all of them LOL This is my first go at ATCs & an ATC swap & I am looking forward to getting started playing with my ideas tonight!

To the other participants--it might help your assigned partner if you fill out your profile. If your partner knew even a FEW things about you, you might be a lot happier with the ATCs you receive. Just a suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestion, Christina, but please be aware that anything you put in your profile can be seen by ALL registered members. I intentionally leave mine blank on most sites, and just put in my web site address. I figure everything you need to know about me is there.

For the gallery do we upload the ATCs we sent out or the ATCs we recieved? TIA!

I would prefer that you upload the item you SEND, not receive. It's always better to scan and post your own work rather than violating the copyright of the artist who sends to you.

Sorry about the confusion. The text that says to upload what you receive is the default site text---I don't think they were thinking about original artwork when they wrote it.

Lisa, I don't know how to rate people (as in a 5 for timeliness and superior effort?). Where did I miss that in the directions for this site? I'm new to this too.

Lisa (etal.), Never mind. I found the clearly labeled "rating Info" button on the left hand side. ; }

I mailed my cards today and uploaded the photos...but, I put the wrong name in the senders field...guess there is no way to edit photos once they are up.

Also, the upload does not automatically change the size of the photos, so you guys may want to do that before they are uploaded...otherwise, the photos are so big that you can't see what the cards look like.

I rec'd my ATCs and am reading about this rating info on SwapBot... http://www.swap-bot.com/rating_info.php It says there should be a spot that says “Rate the partners who sent you stuff.� I am not seeing this. Does anyone know how to do that? TIA!

It will appear two weeks after the sending deadline.

I have not received anything yet...how long should I wait before leaving feedback? And I mailed my ATC's several weeks ago, but have not yet heard that they arrived. It would be nice if Swap-bot sent reminder e-mails.

Unfortunately, I have not received anything yet either. I mailed a pkg to the UK and it got there in 4-1/2 days - from Connecticut! - am getting a bit bummed. If nothing ever comes for me, can I find out who had my name and rate them as a non-swapper? --Cindy

For those of you who have not received packages yet, yes, you can use the ratings system to indicate your partner dropped the ball. Just use the Rate link---it should be visible in the yellow box at the top of the page.
