Halloween matchbox “advent” swap

For this swap you will decorate 13 matchboxes in vintage Halloween style and attach each one to a piece of yarn or twine to be opened beginning the 19th of October. Inside the matchboxes you will include a small charm,vintage button,or jewelry. The main idea is to decorate each matchbox and number them one to thirteen. You can attach the boxes to the twine with a paper clip or clothespin. There are several decorated styles for just a small amount of money that can be found at craft stores. The twine should be long enough to hang like a small banner. The ends of the twine would have loops tied so it could be hung or tacked to a mantle or wall. The matchboxes will be the small sizes. This will be a cute and easily packaged box to mail. Have fun and happy crafting!!! You will have several weeks to work on this.
