I hosted a similar swap back in 2012 and it was really fun! For this swap, we will gather an assortment of ephemera to send to 1 partner. Some of the items are specific, while others leave room for interpretation. Please include a note explaining the items you sent & which one is which. Find & send 10 or more of the following pieces of ephemera: something vintage (1969 or older) a postcard from between 1925-1975 (can be written and postmarked or blank) something with another language OTHER than English on it something postal-related, other than stamps (like airmail stickers, foreign postal forms, etc something non-paper (not cardboard either) a book or magazine page from before 1974 a label (not a computer reproduction, but an actual label off of something, like food, wine, etc.; and not a tiny fruit label off an actual piece of fruit) a ticket for travel, current or vintage (bus, subway, train, plane, cruise, any travel)) a to-go menu from a restaurant you've tried or frequent something with texture 1 sheet of vintage ledger paper, written on or blank something with a picture on it other than a book or magazine page (can be an actual photograph, but try to think of something creative) sender's choice - must be vintage something profile-specific to your partner It's okay to send doubles after you've selected 10 different items from the list. Include a note/list explaining the items you send instead of using post-its or anything sticky, especially on the vintage pieces. Please package the items neatly so they will arrive in good condition and not damaged for us serious collectors! No 1's, 3's, late or no-sends in the last 3 months. I will check profiles before assigning partners. PM me or comment below with any questions. |
