Description:

We all have those days wherein things just don't seem to go right, there's a worry that's bugging us that we can't dust off, something really bad happened, etc. The worst part is that these days don't just come once, they come multiple times.

In this swap you are going to send your partner something that they can look at/play with/read for whenever those days come to help turn their day around.

Please think of something that you think won't lose its "magic". For example, a heartfelt collage or handmade bracelet would be better than a bottle of shampoo that can run out.

These can be handmade, store bought, anything! You could write a great letter with tips to get over her bad day or the bad thoughts looming over her. You could send her a feel-good, Chicken Soup-like book. You could make her something really special.

Note: However, if it isn't obvious enough, along with the item you are sending you must also tell your partner why you think it will brighten up their day. A handmade item may be something you put a lot of time, effort, and care in, but you must let your partner know why you made it and why you think it will make her day great again.

I think this will be a great swap and one that will do good for everyone, so no flakers please! I'll set the rating requirement at 4.0 but with no no-sends in the past 2 months.

EDIT: If you want to offer/devote this swap to someone else like a family member, friend, significant other, etc. by all means do! Just please post a comment below stating who the swap would be going to :)

When I read this I thought about my mom who has been laid off from work now for over a month and VERY stressed out. If I sign up, I wonder if my partner could send the item to her???

DLM...I think that's sweet of you. I personally wouldn't mind at all.

@DosLittleMonkeys - that's no problem at all! and that's a really great idea. I'll edit the swap details and say that people can sign up and devote the swap to someone else like a family member, friend or significant other :)

To my partner, if you read this, I have a friend who was given 2-8 months to live and is currently in the hospital, I'd love for my partner to send a get well package to me so I can give to him!
