Yes We Can! - Inaugural Day Swap

On January 20th, 2009, Barack Obama will be inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States.

Officials have said they expect 1-2 million visitors to travel to the National Mall on Inauguration Day.

CAN"T MAKE IT? Celebrate this historic occasion by creating your own celebration with friends, family, your children, neighbors, strangers and just be present in what's happening and behold the promise of hope!

Then share (though writing, art, music, etc.) how you spent the day and/or what it meant to you ~ with your partner.

Ideas: Make a "YES WE CAN" savings bank for your partner, make a patriotic parade stick (pom-pom), write your own reflective speech about what the day meant to you, make a mini poster of the day's headline news, take photos of the days event or your own party . . .the possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!!!

Since the inauguration is for EVERYONE - so is this swap, anyone who is able to swap here (not suspended), can join this swap and let's just see what happens when we simply take a chance on someone . . .I'd like to believe that YES WE CAN!!!!
