Description:

This swap is for 20 pretty patterned papers (no more than 2 of each pattern please) size is 1/2 of an 8 1/2" x 11" paper-actual size is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Again, I repeat...actual size to send is 5 1/2"x 8 1/2"-send 20 of them no more than 2 of each pattern. If you have 10 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 and cut them in half that would suffice. Or if you have 10 pieces of 12x12 and want to cut them down, that is also a way to complete the requirements. NO solid colors at this time. I like to start a swap and then complete it rather quickly so please sign up and get your papers ready to mail for as soon as possible after getting your partners address.

If you are a smoker, please find a way to air out your papers before sending. I am not a smoker, so I don't know of a way this is possible, but I have received smoke filled papers before and I usually have to put them in a box in the garage with some baking soda and I've also used dryer sheets to remove the smell. Please try to take some of the work out of it for those of us who will be sending papers with no smoke smell. Thank you for your consideration!

In all the swaps I have received [almost all are paper based] I have never smelled smoke on any of them. I didn't realize that paper could retain smoke smell -wow. [fabric & yarns etc. yes...but paper?]

Either I was lucky and received 50 some odd items from non smokers or my [poor] nose isn't as sensitve. :D

Where else do you swap Kimi?

Yes, paper grabs cigarette smoke and holds on tight...I can hardly take it. One lady was giving away some great papers and tons of chipboard. I couldn't take any because it smelled so heavily of smoke. The same person brought a homemade sugary confection that I almost threw up after taking a bite-the smell of her smoke actually penetrated the candy.

I swap all over the web and with a local stamp group as well as purchase from various sources such as ebay.
