How about dressing a dotee for a Spring garden party.with lemonade. She is your normal size dotee with a hanger and tail. Make her revelant to going for tea or lemonade at a garden party. She can have a hat, a new hairdo, anything you want. Just use your great imagination and dress her accordingly, adding embelishments at your whim. Newbies are welcomed. Hopefully no flakers and I bet I will have angels for this,. Send her with a tea bag if you like. This is for USA and Canada only/ Make one for one swapper, happy designing.....

I did ot ask this young woman if I could copy her swap. I just wanted to do one similar but without the cup because of postage sending. Now she thinks I "stole " her idea. So please join in her swap before joining in mine, they are different in content.and the dates are different.

I would rather join the swap without the cup,because of postage and breakage. If it breaks,it could damage the doll also.

I read the other swap before I read this one. I really didn't want to swap a cup and saucer. Because this is international and it can get pricey. Just remember ladies swap bot is to have fun, so no need to get upset there are thousands of swappers for all. By the way it's a great idea and the tea party/ garden party has been done many times before. So lets just all have fun thats why we are here.God bless..Holly

I saw on someone's flickr account that they received a cup and saucer that was all broken. It was really sad.

If I can do it, I am thinking of making a cup & saucer for my dottee with fimo/sculpey clay!

I can't wait to get started on her, I just got some great fabrics in a dottee fabric swap!

I also had read the other person's swap first and passed on it because of the cup clause. This one I would join because of less postage and it is not fragile. Thanks for creating it for spring!

Is it a requirement for a dotee to have a fabric/sewn face? I just got a cool polymer clay mold for doll faces and wonered if its acceptable to do a clay face?

This will be my first dotee! I hope that folks will keep making these little treasures as I have just discovered them and have viewed alot of them on flikr. Really Fantastic, quick to make, charming!
