Reverse Ink-and-Wash Watercolor PC

This swap is for a handmade postcard.

A twist on ink sketching with watercolor - here, we'll put down the watercolor FIRST and then black ink SECOND (you can also add some highlights with white or metallic gel pen if you're feeling inspired, but please do most of the drawing in black).

For this technique, you let the shapes of a semi-random wash/splatter painting inspire your ink lines. The watercolor can be completely random or you can start with a loose idea of what you might like to draw on top. You can do landscapes, florals, abstracts, undersea scenes, birds...lots of possibilities! Go whimsical or stylized or realistic! Have fun!

Please make your postcard about 4x6"/10x15cm and sturdy enough to go through the mail. It should be sent naked, stamped, and written unless your partner requests an envelope. I will angel if necessary.
