Gain exposure to your blog 2!

The first one was so much fun! I found some great blogs. I can't wait for the second one. Just and FYI, I have a give away on my blog right now. Go check it out!

As a newbie, I would love to join.

I'd better figure out which one I need to get up to speed! I've only started blogging a month ago.

I would love to join but am still waiting on people to contact me from the first...and still waiting to get all my ratings too.

I was in the first blog exposure swap. I've just reviewed the last blog of my contacts, but the swap doesn't show up, so I can't rate it. How do I get it back up on the screen? Diane

I have changes the swap arrangements from last time to ease the confusion and smooth out all the issues from the last swap. For example:

You send your blog link to the partners you see when clicking 'Rate your partners and coordinator' as that way you can rate them for giving you comments.

There are only 3 swap partners you send your link too so you will only receive 3 links to visit.

I will send out an email before the swap to clarify that everyone is to follow those rules before I organise the swap partners.

Anyone not happy or unsure about the rules should not sign up for this swap.

Why do you send your blog link to "Rate your partners" - are those people supposed to be sending to YOU?

"See the partners you send to" should be who the links go to, right?

Or are we sending to six people total?

Hi there. I would love to join in your blog exchange swap. I am a newbie too, and I think this would be a fun way to get my feet wet. A couple questions if u don't mind...I hope they don't sound too stupid, remember, 1st time swapper here! Okay, do we send only swapbot blog links, or is this to gain exposure for outside blogs also. And, if I encounter some of the problems I have
read the other gals writing about...do i contact u? or someone else? or just post it here and wait 4 someone to get back to me?

I'm a little confused - how do I find which blogs to read.

you send to "Rate your partners" - as that is the way this swap is going to work as then you can rate those people if they give you comments. The other way round it wouldn't work you see. You partners will mail you their blog links once I assign partners.

Somebody has already sent me their blog address, but I thought the swap hadn't even started yet! Aren't there still a couple of days to sign up? At least, I haven't received the names of the people I send to. Confused.

Thanks so much for this swap, I'm new to this site and I'm very new to blogging. It feels a little lame talking to people when nobody is reading what you write. I hope to find some nice blogger friends and to get some blogg watchers as well.

I am also interested in seeing some other peoples blogs. :]

Please can EVERYBODY follow these rules as it will make the swap run correctly and smoothly!

Please take you time to read as these rules are different form other swaps.

You will send your blog link to 3 Partners ONLY. The name of your partners you send to will be the ones you see when you click "Rate your partners and co-ordinator" - as that is the way this swap is going to work. Please note this is different to the way you would send other swaps. As you will be able to rate those people if they give you comments. The other usual way round wouldn't work you see.

I am not going to allocate partners for a few days to make sure everyone has read this email. ( I have also posted the details on the blog details as well)

If anyone is unsure or mails me because they are confused I will drop you from the swap as the instructions are as clear as I can make them.

I have made it as clear as I can and I don’t want this swap to fail so unfortunately if you still express you are unsure what to do then please let me know and I will drop you from this swap as I can‘t make it any clearer and it will be unfair for you take part and you do not follow the above rules.

I'm very confused by this swap - first of all, if the swap info states that "it would be nice" if you would leave a comment (for a heart?) then why are we rating solely on whether or not they commented on our blogs? Second of all, why was all of this information posted after the swap was created and not in the actual original post? I understand that an e-mail was sent out with all of these updates, but I think mine must have been filtered through as spam because I never received anything.

The swap has become a major frustration very quickly - I loved participating in the former Gain Exposure swaps and I do hope that if you choose to create another one later that the set-up is reverted back to how it used to be.

Just sent my link ... can't wait to see the other blogs! this is my first time doing a blog swap, it seems like a great idea!

I did post info about the way the swap would work this time in plenty of time for people to drop out if they wished (on the 18th of Feb to be exact).

Its not my fault if you did not read the email as again I posted the info on here too. Im trying to accomodate opinions from the last blog swap to make it run better.

I think the swap is running more smoothly and wish people would stop being so critical.

One of my swap partners didn't leave a comment at my blog and doesn't respond to my message, so according to the swap assignment I have to give her a 1 (I think?). But come on...a 1 because someone didn't comment on my blog??!! But on the otherhand, why participating?? I don't know what to do...

Hi, little z! Personally, I wouldn't hold it against the swapper. Maybe s/he just visited the blog, looked around, but didn't leave a comment. Others might have different opinions on this, but my philosophy is... it's no big deal. :)
