Description:

I'm a huge fan of ephemera swaps with all kinds of different bits and bobs sent in an envelope. It's such a fun surprise to receive an envelope of random goodies.

And let's be clear, we could ALL use a little joy in our lives right?

For this swap, you'll pick at least 10 things to put into an envelope and send to one person - no need to reflect the person's profile. There's a list of ideas below, but feel free to be creative and to send anything you think is in good shape and interesting or visually appealing in some way.

Anything goes and I'm all about recycling things you aren't using so it's ok if the sticker sheet has a few stickers missing or a card doesn't have an envelope. Just be sure it'd be something YOU would like to receive.

Ideas: - Postcards/Cards - ATC's - Book pages - washi tape - stickers of all kinds! - stamps - neat paper - pictures (vintage/odd/interesting) - playing cards - scraps of pretty paper - bookmarks - tea - origami - die cuts - coloring pages - tags/receipts - post it notes - book flags - embroidery - ribbon - textured paper - game pieces - dictionary papers - zines - postmarks - stamped paper - watercolor bits - doodles/zentangles

You get the idea!!!

I'll do a rating filter of 4.9 or higher. Enthusiastic newbies with well filled out profiles and a clear understanding of how Swap Bot works are welcome.

Please give 5's to anyone who gave you at least 10 things. Hearts are up to you.

I'll do my best to do all the things that come with being a host (e.g. angel/deal with flakers etc). But I am human and this pandemic makes it a very weird time. Please be kind and generous with me and with one another.

One more hint: PLEASE CHECK YOUR POSTAGE! YOU MIGHT NEED MORE THAN ONE STAMP!

Most of all, have FUN!

I absolutely love desks and have done ephemera swaps with Facebook penpals and friends of mine. I would absolutely love to be considered! I am a mixed media artist so have plenty of these random bits and know the joy of opening them.

Sure @artsyorca you may have to do a few swaps before you can be rated. You might see if you can do a quick email swap or two to get your ratings up before the deadline. We'd love to have you in the swap!

I would love to be apart of this swap! I know I am new to swap not but I have an extensive collection of ephemera amount all of my crafting, sewing and other collections. I am constantly on the look out for more as well :)

Could I send as flat mail if it has 10 items?

mulkey 04/14/2020 #

@jcgypsy292 You can certainly get creative about what counts as ephemera!

@Alivia0asthetics Absolutely! There's no requirement that this be a package, I can usually fit mine in an envelope (though often I do need to add a bit more postage!)

I would love to be apart of this But I just joined today Will you let me participate in this ??

Hi @bpl76 this swap closes tomorrow, you do need to have some form of rating, consider doing a quick email rating swap so that you can join! We would love to have you!
