Description:

Do you love to collect those dies from “Auntie Ali” 😉😉? Well, here is your chance to use them and share some of your die cuts. This swap should be easy, fast, and fun. There are only a few requirements. You’ll find those listed below.

I do hope you’ll take some time, go through your stash, and find a variety of dies you forgot you had or better yet never used!

Use Your Stash - Die Cut Swap

Swap Requirements

  • You can use thin metal stand alone dies, stamp & die cut images, steel ruled dies, or electronic die cut (image or print & cut) files to create your die cuts. NO paper punches for this swap or store bought die cuts.

  • Send at least ten (10) die cuts of at least three (3) different designs. Feel free to send more.

  • Please be creative with your die cuts, for example do not send all stitched squares that vary in size.

  • Please use card stock, not text weight paper.

  • Present your die cuts in some sort of decorated holder/packaging using at least ONE of your gifted die cuts. Some packaging ideas are below:

    • handmade envelope
    • tag pocket
    • cello bag with a bag topper
    • mini file folder .
  • Lastly, please include a note/tag/label with the following information:

    • Swap Title: Use Your Stash - Die Cut Swap
    • Your full name
    • Your swap bot name
    • Date Sent

Notes: No goodie is required for this swap, and it should be a relatively flat swap. Just depending on how you present your die cuts. There is a crafting component to this swap which is why it's a Type 3. USA only to keep costs low. Die cuts are sender's choice for design, color(s), and theme.

Please message me or comment below if you have any questions.

Electronic die cuts... Does that mean I can use my Silhouette Cameo ? 😁

vcox 04/21/2020 #

Absolutely!!!! You can even use print & cut files.

Awesome! 😁

I don’t understand what you mean about presenting die cuts in packing using at least one of your gifted die cuts. Is a homemade envelope okay?

vcox 04/28/2020 #

Yes, Absolutely!. As a matter of fact, it's the first idea I listed above. Just decorate it with one of your gifted die cuts. So if one of your die cuts is a stitched heart. I would add the heart to the front of the envelope and a few other elements to decorate...(like include a stamped sentiment, add a bling) or even layer up the heart. Let me know if you still have questions. I like to add a craft component to my swaps, also I feel if you have to use whatever you are gifting to decorate, then you would certainly send something you'd like to receive. I hope that helps and you join the swap.

Can this be on patterned paper or should they be on plain?

vcox 04/29/2020 #

Sender's choice. Patterned paper can be super cute and truly accent a die cut.
