ATC by Judy Corona .............................The Bleach Technique..................................... For this swap you will make 2 atc's for 1 partner using the Bleach Technique...This is a really simple and fun technique to learn.. Atc's must have some type of bleach effect other than that there is no theme Normal household bleach can be used as a rubber stamp 'ink'. The bleach removes the color from the background, giving a lighter image. The effect will vary depending on paper type and color, so try different types... Try one of these bleach technique or come up with your own... You can use the dabbing effect...Take a paper towel or cloth that has been soaked in bleach and squeezed out and dab spots or draw lines on your paper... Or the spray effect...Put bleach in a spray bottle and spray the card stock for an all over speckled look. Or you can make your own stamp pad....By Place several sheets of kitchen paper in an old ceramic saucer and soak in bleach. Use your rubber stamp just like you would a do normal stamping... Let your stamped paper dry .Then finished it off anyway you would like. Bleached images can be painted, colored with chalks or finished in the same way as any other image Make sure to clean your rubber stamps after using bleach... |
