Boredom Buster: revised Let's Try again # 8

The first thing that comes to mind is a kitchen sink or a sponge. I clean my dishes by hand, mainly to save on electricity. But the smart sink and/or sponge could do the washing for me. Find the food spot I missed. Adjust the water to the correct temp, rinse the dishes. and it could do it all without complaining.

A washing basket that moves so when people throw their clothes at it (eg hubby and son) it moves and catches them, then goes to the washing machine and puts the clothes in ready to wash

I would adore a smart-oven cooker thingamajig! Something that takes away the stress of figuring out what’s for dinner in this household! 😂

I think smart beds would be awesome. It could get hotter or colder depends on the weather. It could shake me to wake me up. It could make itself in mornings.

I know that they’re out there but a foolproof soda machine that works efficiently every time for a drive thru. Everything is set up that when a drink order is placed the computer conveys it to the machine and makes the drink. Or and I think McDonald’s and Starbucks has this set up but every fast food joint should have a machine that when someone asks for cream and sugar that the machine adds it before handing out the window so the customer isn’t fumbling when they are trying to drive

Smart floors that repell dirt, dust, and spills!

I would love a smart beverage machine that would offer you any drink, hot or cold that you asked it - including alcohol. It would also pour the exact amount and temperature that you like. It would be just like on Star Trek when Cap. Picard tells the machine - "Earl Grey" "Hot". It would feature face recognition so that it would scan your face and know exactly how you like your drinks!

A smart device that lets me view my dreams!

Or a lucid dreaming device that lets me control my dreams. (I know these already exist, but I don't have one, and controlling your dreams might be cooler than just watching them)

I'd love a smart pen or pencil that would automatically fix writing mistakes and make my handwriting neater haha. Would be very useful for taking notes or writing essays!

Windows that clean themselves!

@Lililuv ... You read my mind! I totally agree... something that would repel dirt and dust from floors and, one step further... from anywhere in the home - making vacuuming, mopping, and dusting totally obsolete! -- -- with my allergies, all of these would be extremely helpful to my health!!

Something that would automatically cut the grass, bag it, and put it out for the trash - and also something that would do landscaping the same way! -- Again, allergies.

I would like to see a 'smart' lawn mower. Open an app on my phone and tell it to mow the front lawn. It would mow around the bird feeder poles and such and return to it's charging staton when it gets done or the battery gets low, just like my Rumba vacuum.

i would love to see "smart" baby diapers, that immediately senses when the baby is wet or dirty, changes the diaper, and then disposes of the diaper in a smell-proof container!

I really need a set of sheets and cover that automatically make up the bed whenever it is vacant and have the sheets change themselves regularly. Working on the bed kills the arthritis in my back.

I also would like a toilet that comes equipped with a brush that would scrub the inside and outside of the toilet by itself and leave it sparkling clean.

@NRGordon - they do have the smart lawnmowers that work like a Rumba. We saw them at Disney World back in 1996 when we were there. Do a search for "robotic lawn mowers" and you'll see many!

Never mind smart versions of just small things.....I want an entire self cleaning house. Period.

House that will paint the walls inside whenever you want a color change
