AACG: Tag Flip

Hi swappers!

Let's create a tag flip for our partners! What's a tag flip? Well . . . you'll begin with a large tag (perhaps #8 shipping) and add layers and layers (no gluing of layers), with layers getting smaller and smaller. Your smallest layer will be on top and all layers will be punched and strung onto a ribbon, some lace, a garment pin, etc. All layers needn't be tag shaped--mix it up with different shapes if you like. Just remember, layers get progressively smaller as you go from back to front.

Choose a theme and colors that inspire you! Each layer should be lightly embellished, punched, stamped, etc. to add interest.

Let's agree to use a base layer that measures no smaller than 3.5" x 6.5" with at least 5 layers in the tag flip.

Remember not to glue layers together--they should swing freely on your pin/ribbon, etc.

To save on postage, you may certainly mail your tag flip in an 'unstrung' fashion and include a pin/ribbon/lace/twine, etc. for stringing. Your partner can certainly assemble it when it arrives. This might actually be fun!
