--you will have 2 partners

--send each partner ONE PAIR of nine-patch blocks (senders’ choice of colors with white in-between)

BLOCK ONE (when assembled) will have as the first row;
          Colored print square, white square, colored print square at the top  

BLOCK TWO (when assembled) will have as the first row:
           white square, color print square, white square at the top 

-- total 4 blocks mailed (2 blocks to each partner)

--all fabric will be 100% cotton quilting fabric

CUTTING:

               Cut 9 white squares 5 " by 5 "     
          (plain white or tone-on-tone white)

                Cut 9 color/print squares 5 " by 5 "
            (senders’ choice color print or prints)

Assemble the blocks using a ¼ inch seam allowance, press and package for mailing.

I rarely wash my quilting fabric before using it, but I do try to avoid household smells (food, strong perfumes, pets, etc.) and dirt.

The swap-bot golden rule is to always send items you would be happy to receive.

Future rounds:

Round #3 we will make "half-square-triangle" blocks.
