Description:

We will make our partner 1 item per room. We will make for 4 rooms, so send your partner a total of 4 items. The rooms are kitchen, bathroom, living room/family room and our bedroom. Use whatever craft you like to do--crochet, sew, knit, clay, whatever. No requests on the type of craft you receive. For example, I could not knit if that's what my partner wanted, since I don't know how to knit. You can put down the colors/themes of each of your rooms in the comments section though. You don't necessarily have to follow the theme, but choosing their colors would be nice. You can make whatever items you want to help decorate. Here are just a few examples: coasters, baskets, wall hanging, cozies, door hangers, sun catchers, towels, kleenex holders, anything decorative.

I am giving alot of time to make this swap. Rules are stricter than usual for me since this is more involved. USA only, ratings of 4.9 or better and no recent no-sends. Please ask any questions that you might have.

Could you put some type of dollar value? I'd hate to send like a quilted throw and get back a set of 4 coasters, ya know? Maybe like minimum $5 per room? Or even add a maximum, of like $10 per room.

I did sign up though! My house is a kinda funky eclectic style, use brighter colors or springy colors. Avoid darker colors. Everything has kinda a retro vibe, or a cottage look. My wists (linked on my profile) shows tonsssssss of stuff that shows my style very well.

Also I don't want to sound picky, but no plastic canvas items please, unless it's like a 14 point detailed stuff. My mom and grandma both did/do plastic canvas and I already have a ton more then I'd like.

I really don't know how to put a value on this, but valued between $10-$15 at the most maybe. Value, not spending money. I'm thinking a small project for each room, up to 2 hours of crafting time for each item. An item for 1 room might take more time than another room. Hope these are good guidelines.

$10-15 total??? Or per room??

I am thinking of a small item per room, so something quick and easy to make, nothing extravagant, unless you choose to. So $10-$15 total. I know some people get alot of money for such items and that's why I hate to put an amount, and it's hard to come up with a good value amount. Here is an example for a person that crochets: kitchen-a pot holder, bathroom-tea towel, living room-coasters, bedroom-nightstand doily. This is just an example to show small project ideas. I hope this clarifies a little better.

This looks like fun.. I love making little things for my home...and it would be fun making for someone else too. I'm pretty new to swap-bot...can I join?

I think I'm going to have to drop. :( Just to much life on my plate right now. Great swap idea though!
