Hi all! It's definitely headed for fall here where I live ~ it was 36 when I woke up Saturday morning! The trees are beginning to turn to their fall colors and the winds are relentless... I'm feeling like fall and created some cardboard leaves to hang from my jute line in the living room! I think they came out well! I thought it might be a fun swap idea too. I love the colors in the fall :) The plan is to create cardboard (think cereal box or cracker box here) leaves - I covered mine with old book pages & music on the back. Decorate, collage, color, paint however you like without using heavy embellishments. Punch a hole and add some sort of hanging cord. They should be at least 5 inches in length. I'd like for them to fit inside a flat envelope for easy mailing ~ they should mail for the cost of one stamp! See? Simple, cheap and fun! Let's share the falling leaves with our swapping partners. I thought we could have 2 partners and send each of them 1 leaf. I will angel if needed, but I don't think that will be necessary! |
