International Scavenger Hunt Fabric /Sewing

This is the international swap. There is a US only version also. Feel free to join both if you qualify.

This is a follow up to the hunt I did last month ,,

You will send 5 fabric or fabric/sewing related items to your partner. Things like fat quarters, ribbon, thread, buttons, seam rippers, iron-ons, pincushions, etc. would work.

Each item must go for one of the following categories:

Something with light blue/ robin egg blue

Some type of ribbon/ trim

Some type of sewing tool

Something on a spool

Something at least half a yard

Some examples:. Send your partner a yard of robin egg blue fabric #1, a spool of coordinaing ribbon for #2, a seam ripper for #3, a spool of thread for #4, and a half yard of fabric for #5.

As you can see, you can get really creative with this and have some fun.

There must be five items. And all of the categories must be represented. Items can qualify as more than one category. A fat quarter that would work for the something black and white and something polka dot but use it for one category only.

You could make some of the items – as long as they fit one of the categories and are fabric / sewing related. So let’s say you want to make a robin egg blue needle book for #3 that’s fine because it would be that color.

Inlcude a note explaining what item is for each number .

Now the rules: There is no dollar amount set for this swap but I ask that you not send junk or used items.Also no little scraps of fabric. If you are going to send fabric it must be a minimum of a fat quarter. And with ribbon, it must be a minimum cut of one yard. And I ask that you check your partner’s profile for likes/dislikes. Sending your partner blue embroidery thread would work but if they don’t embroider, it’s useless.

This swap is open to swappers with ratings of 4.8 or higher. I reserve the right to ban swappers at my discretion. Newbies- profiles must be filled out.
