Description:
Let's make a rainbow connection... This is a swap for the colors of the rainbow. You will send 1 ATC for each of the 7 colors of the basic rainbow. You will make 7 cards for 1 partner. So you will make one ATC in each of the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple & pink. The entire set will go to your partner. Cards can be any theme and do not have to be all the same theme. At least 90% of the ATC must be in it's particular color. Ex.: for the red ATC you must use at least 90% red whether it be paint, stickers, imagery, paper, etc. You may have a picture of red lips to use on the red ATC but maybe the teeth are showing a tiny bit. That's ok as long as colors other than red don't' take up more than 1/10 of the red ATC. Must have 4.8 or higher to join. I will moderate before I assign partners. Why is it that none of the several rainbow ATC swaps I've seen so far have used the Actual colours of the rainbow?

I am wondering the same thing as katarinanavane....are these the modern day rainbow colors??? When did pink become one??? Thinking about this one a little longer.

Well yes, the actual ROY G BIV colors are not what I chose for this swap. I thought instead of two blues I would replace one with pink to make it more interesting. I felt having to do a blue & an indigo would cause difficulty. I kept this regional because I wasn't sure if people would want to sign up if it was international. I know shipping can get expensive. If the US people wouldn't mind weighing in - perhaps I could open this up internationally since there is so much interest.

I don't mind sending internationally. Yeah, it's a little more expensive but it's fun, too. And when you are in international swaps, you always stand the chance of getting a cool postmark from another country which you can then incorporate into future ATC's, scrapbooks, mixed media art, altered books, etc.

Although it would be neat getting some ATC's internationally I just wouldn't be able to do it. I'd prefer if you kept it regional. It being a regional swap was the only reason I signed up since we have to send 7 ATC"s. Please don't change it to international. I want to do this swap but would have to drop out otherwise.

I'd like this to be international too. maybe you could host another later & make it international.I don't mind sending out to other countries. postage isn't that much more costly. lol.

I like the color choices. Even if pink isn't a color of the rainbow.. I still think it's a good idea to include it
