This is a international swap. Newbies welcome.
You will send the pattern by mail, and also the numbers (for colours) And if you want, you can also add a picture of you cross stitch done ! =)

For the patterns you can choose to send big cross stitch pattern(s) or small one(s). Send at least ONE pattern. You say down here in comments if you prefer big patterns or smaller ones =)

Please send at least one pattern. Free to you to include a little bit of fabric, of strings , etc..

Hey!! If you guys want your kids to get involved in swaping join Children's Nature Poscard!! : )

melissajaye 03/23/2009 #

Can you make copies of the patterns? Some of my old patterns are in pattern books.

Arizona 03/24/2009 #

I'm a little bit lost cause this swap is in e-mail category... so what type it is?

Tini 03/26/2009 #

No I'm sorry it's a mail swap. Not a E-mail swap. Put the patterns in an enveloppe ,and send it to your partner =)

Tini 03/28/2009 #

I prefer smaller patterns. Like cute little things ^^

ChelelosGirl 04/ 1/2009 #

I'm in - I've been waiting to find a swap for these - you are right - those books are expensive!! I think color copies of the instructions might help too, as sometimes it'd hard to tell from the key which mark is which, if that makes any sense. lol

This one's on my watchlist but I'll be sending the pattern I'm working on now, and I just found a converter so you'll get the floss that goes with it :)

kssunlover1947 04/ 5/2009 #

On my watchlist for now. Will definatly sign up closer to the date. I have some duplicate patterns that I would be able to send.

babynurse 04/ 8/2009 #

melissa jaye, in answer to your question, you can if it doesn't violate any copyrights to the pattern. If the pattern states you can then you can. I have lots of older patterns and books to that I can send.

hi, instead of patterns i have LOTS of ones that need to be done, i seem to collect them instead of making them. :-) if anybody would like to swap one of my projects with me for some threads or embrodiery backing i would be more than happy. let me know,.

deb 05/27/2009 #

I love cross stitch and agree patterns can be expensive. Such a great idea for a swap. I'm off to make colour copies of some patterns I have this week to send out for when our partners are assigned. Oh and I like Tini prefer smaller size patterns, I find it takes me way to long to get through huge ones.

cath 05/29/2009 #

I'm so impatient to begin this swap ! What a wonderful idea ! I love cross stitch but I prefer not too big patterns because I'm afraid I won't be able to finish the big size patterns. Many thanks to organize that swap.

Tini 06/ 4/2009 #

I'm happy you're happy ! =p this is gonna be a great swap !! ( I actually started a huuuge one. And i don't know if i'm gonna be able to finish it ^^ ) Small patterns are better ^^

I prefer larger patterns. I too seem to collect. I just found a lot of older simplistic patterns at a yardsale. If anyone is interested in a private swap e-me at mlcase@glacierview.net

Hi!

If anyone is wondering, I like smaller stitching stuff. I love birds, animals and flowers. please nothing religious.

Very excited for this swap! So practical! Would love to get a pattern not from Michaels (the ONLY cross stitch game in town, these days...)

Yay!

deb 06/11/2009 #

I should of mentioned I prefer nothing religious either, I like teddys, bunnys, flowers pretty much cutesy stuff.

Oursenpeluche 06/18/2009 #

This is a cool swap, I'm in! I like smaller patterns that I can use as appliqués. I like anything nature: animals, flowers, birds.

heidistitches 06/21/2009 #

Love this swap. I hope it happens again.

My only preference is that the pattern have little or no backstitching! I like primitives the best or seasonal (easter, halloween, christmas, etc.).

thanks!

dmarie 06/22/2009 #

small patterns for me- more of a chance for me to complete :D

Arizona 06/26/2009 #

I prefer medium pattern size :) not a small applique, but also not a biiig picture ;) And I would love anything oriental, in asian style, geishas etc :) I collect cross stitcher so if anyone is interested in patterns from there just PM me

OnyxLight 06/26/2009 #

I like patterns of all sizes! I would LOVE anything celestial, oriental, fantasy (ie dragons, fairys, princess, castle, etc) Roses are always awesome too! Also like things with funny sayings, cute animals....... ok so I pretty much like everything LOL

hinting 06/29/2009 #

I prefer patterns that does not include beads in it. And also I prefer not religious, landscape or animal patterns. I like cute patterns.

kssunlover1947 06/30/2009 #

What I would really like is some elephant patterns like Humphrey from Cross Stitch Crazy. I bought the July 09 issue the other day at the book store but at $10 each I can't get very many. Just one now and then. Although I would love anything that you would want to send.
