MM&L: Custom Sea Monster ATC

Arrr, matey! Today we explore the seas for the theme of sea monsters. Are you scared? I know I am!

For this swap, you will be making a sea monster of your partner's choosing. That's right -- the only thing scarier than getting pulled to your doom in the watery depths is not knowing what you're making until the swap begins! Once you join, please comment the sea monster you would like to receive. The catch? No repeats -- once something is requested, it cannot be requested again.

If you need ideas, here is a list of sea monsters! For this swap, you may use a monster from modern fiction or a cryptid, so feel free to be creative. If you get partnered with someone and feel you need more information on their choice, shoot them a message. You will have 3 weeks to make your card.

NOTE: If you are definitely joining this swap but want to wait until closer to the start date, you may reserve your monster in the comments now. Please let me know if you need to withdraw for any reason so I can put your monster back up for dibs!

Rules

• 1 card to 1 partner, extras not necessary but not actively discouraged

• standard ATC rules: 2.5" x 3.5", sturdy backing, send in a protective sleeve. Please include the swap name, your username, and the date on the back. I think it's also fun to sign them/receive them signed, but this is not required. If you do not sign, please write your first name and last initial as well.

• make sure the monsters themselves are hand-made by you in some way. Any medium is acceptable, and the background can include collage elements, be totally hand-drawn, etc. Please take your time and make something you'd like to receive!

• portrait or landscape orientation are both acceptable

• 3 weeks to create and send

• please rate a 5 if the card(s) you receive meet(s) the requirements. Give a heart if you love it.

• make sure you have correct postage! USPS is cracking down on postage due and classing things as first class small parcels!

• If you will be late for any reason, please message both me and your partner as soon as you can. I do message swappers who have not sent and not provided explanation. That said, if it's an actual emergency, take care of it and we'll figure it out when you're ready. I will angel but hope I won't have to here (and will ban if it's the case).
