Re-posting this swap as I had a couple people indicate they would be interested. I promise this one will go on as planned :)

MM&L: Book Exchange

Send 1 book to 1 partner that is relevant to the group's theme! You can buy a book new or used, or send one you already own. Participants may leave a comment on the swap indicating their interests and likes/dislikes for the book they receive.

Topics can include, but are not limited to: mythology, folklore, cryptids or other monsters, aliens/UFOs, ghosts, demons, cults, conspiracy theories, dreams or lucid dreaming, astrology, tarot and other divination practices, esoteric or occult topics, the paranormal and otherwise supernatural topics. Pretty much anything along those lines goes so if I haven't listed it, but you feel it's relevant, feel free to include it in your list!

When you sign up you can leave a comment below listing themes/topics you would enjoy and those you would dislike. If there are certain books you already own you can mention those as well so your partner can avoid them. If you don't mind receiving books on any topic you are not required to leave a comment. If you plan to join closer to the sign-up date you may also comment ahead of time.

Rules:

• Send 1 partner 1 book relevant to the group's theme. New, used, or one from your own collection. The most that should be spent is around $10 - you are free to spend more than that if you choose, but as some may be sending books they already own or buying used there is no real monetary expectation.

• This swap is sender's choice as long as you avoid your partner's dislikes. It's always nice to send something you know your partner will enjoy, but if they haven't mentioned specifically disliking the topic you may send it.

• Books must be in GOOD condition. This means don't send anything dirty, stained, water or mold damaged, smelly, torn covers/pages or otherwise beat up. Minimal writing or light page creasing in the book that doesn't prevent it from easily being read is okay. Hardbacks don't need to have the original dust jacket.

• If purchasing a book online you may have it shipped directly to your partner if you'd like. Please try to have the seller include a note with the swap name/your username if possible, or send a message to your partner so they know to be expecting it and who it will be from. (If you decide to ship directly, please keep your invoice in case the seller sends an incorrect or poor condition book.)

• If you are sending the book yourself please package it so it will not be damaged and include a note with the swap name + your username so you can easily be rated.

• Rate promptly when you receive the swap - 5 if you receive a book in good condition that avoids your dislikes even if the book is not exactly your taste. No extras are required. (If your partner has shipped a book directly to you and it is not as expected, please contact them and allow them the chance to resend before rating!)

If you will be late sending the swap please contact myself AND your partner. Don't down-rate without contacting me about the issue first. I will angel if anyone gets flaked on provided you try to communicate with your partner and give them the appropriate rating.
