G: Ghouls

Edit 7/13 Life has happened to me, and the original dates for this swap wouldn't work out. Rather than deleting the swap, I've pushed the sign up and send by dates back by a few weeks. I apologize for the changes. I hope you will all be able to still join in. :)

This swap series started in THIS FORUM list for topics for 2022. WE completed the full list as posted, but as each topic had multiple ideas, I thought we could start over from the beginning - either share the same topic with your partner -if you have a different partner! - or choose a different option for the topic to share with your partner.

For July we will be looking into Ghouls, Revenants, etc To include: Ghouls, shtriga, Draugr/Draug, vampire, zombie, and others

Choose one of the topics above and do a little research - look online, research in a book, watch a video, it's up to you. Now, tell your partner about your chosen topic. Aim for about 2-3 paragraphs of information and your thoughts on your chosen topic. If you watched a movie or a video with information, you are more than welcome to also include that information.

Information to consider in your research: (If you can find it)

where the spirit is usually seen,

how long the spirit has been 'active' and sighted.

Does the spirit have an origin story?

Do you have any personal experience with the spirit?

These reports can be typed or handwritten. You can add your own illustrations or those you find online, if you wish, but it's not required.

If you wish to share any video links with group members, please feel free to do so below. Please also feel free to list any links for podcasts or movie titles as well. Or, you can add them to THIS THREAD in the forum.
