Index card grid collages

For this swap, take 3 index cards or pieces of cardstock cut to 3 inches by 5 inches and completely cover a side of each with 15 1-inch squares from magazines, catalogs, old books, etc. Each resulting card will be a grid of 15 squares whose colors, textures, and patterns play off one another in different ways.

Don't add further collage elements--the idea is to keep it simple, not overthink your process, and simply enjoy the way the squares interact.

You'll send 1 card to each of your 3 partners. Of course, be sure to include your swap-bot name and the swap name.

This swap is inspired by a suggestion in Keri Smith's "100 Ideas" list. I recently gave it a try and found it fun and creatively freeing; I hope you will too!

Other details: 1) No unrated swappers or folks who have done only electronic swaps. 2) Swappers with a rating below 4.90 will be dropped before partners are assigned. 3) I may drop swappers whose profiles or ratings raise concerns when I look at them; if there is something you'd like to explain about your ratings and/or sending history, please contact me in advance.
