We Love Books - Letter D - USA

Now we are on our 4th in our series of book swaps using a new letter each time. I love reading and love the chance to share books I have read, and I know lots of you do too!

For this swap you will read one book using the letter "D" for either the author name or the book name. For example, for "D" you could read any book by the author Stephen R. Donaldson, or the book "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King. This can be a book you have already read, or a new one you have been wanting to read, or maybe an old favorite you want to recommend. Also, this does not have to be a novel. It can be a book of poetry, or a biography, or an inspirational book, etc. It's OK to step outside the box.

When you have read your book, you will send the book on to your partner, with a note about why you chose the book, what you liked about it or maybe didn't like about it, a connection you made to a character, etc. Sort of a book club of one! Hopefully we will all get to read some new books or discover a new author or genre.

So, each person reads one book, sends the book and a note to their partner. You do not need to wait to start reading your book, as this is not a profile based swap. Also, please don't rate on whether you liked the book, but on whether you received the book.

This is a USA only swap, but I will also be doing an INTL swap for those interested. I will allow newbies as you have to start somewhere. But be sure you are able to commit to this before signing up. You must have at least a couple paragraphs filled out on your profile (sorry one or two lines isn't enough), so please take time to do that. If you are not a newbie, you must have a rating of 4.8 or higher, and no no-sends in the past month. I will check profiles before assigning partners. This isn't a hard swap, but everyone deserves to receive the swap agreed upon. I will always angel, but I shouldn't have to.
