I just learned of this wonderful collage artist, Margarete Miller (check out her website,https://www.margaretemiller.com). I joined a swap with this style and really enjoyed it and I would like to share it with you, College Index Card. I am enjoying college index card because it is a challenge to decorate something that is so small. Also keeping the index cards together and organize is easy, you can use a 3-ring binder or a metal ring. My favorite holiday is Halloween, so I am going to combine them together.

Glue two 3 x 5" index cards together or cut cereal strength cardboard to size for your base, and collage both sides in the landscape orientation; make a small space to add the date, your SB name and where you live on the back side of your card. I have looked back at some of my college index cards, remembering where they have come from. If you cannot find a small area to add the information you could send a business card or sturdy note with your information on it. It can be put on the binder ring with your card. Add a hole in the middle of the left side (this will be the front of your card). When sending your college index card, add a note or letter about yourself and your college (how you made it, why you picked the items you did, etc).

I am hosting the ‘Halloween College Index Card Series’ (HCICS), so by Halloween you could have ring clip of individual index cards to look through. There might be some close swap dates, please be aware. Message me with any questions.
