"Calling All Recipe Lovers" Swap

Driving to visit my mom a few days ago I came up with a great swap idea.

I'm sure there are many people, like me, who like to try new, SIMPLE, recipes. By simple, I mean using ingredients that you usually have in your fridge or pantry, or can be obtained easily with a visit to your small town grocery store.

This is going to be an ongoing series of swaps catering to the "simple recipe" lover. The first swap is going to be different than all of the swaps that follow later.

For the first part, we are going to swap fancy recipe card boxes, similar to the picture above. Subsequent swaps will be for various recipes (depending on the title of the swap) and will be done on a bi-weekly basis. After the initial box swap, you are free to join in as many or as few of the recipe swaps as you desire.

So, for this first part, you will have 1 partner. You need to purchase 1 nice, new, storebought recipe card box with matching recipe cards included (this part is important). Card size should be 3"x5". I'm not going to specify a set price because it could vary greatly depending on store and location - just make sure it is something that you would be happy to receive yourself. (When you receive your swap, please set the recipe cards aside as you will be needing them for future swaps!) After enough time has passed for all the boxes to be received, I'll start the recipe swaps.

Because it is really important for future swaps that each participant actually receive a recipe card box, this part of the swap is going to be open only to people with a 5.0 rating. (If you have a lesser rating, PM me and 'we'll talk'.) No newbies, sorry. The subsequent recipe swaps will be open to anyone, newbies included.

Remember, this is an international swap, so don't sign up unless you are willing to send internationally.
