Greetings SwapBotters! Right off the bat, I'm going to let you know that this swap is going to be a little craft intensive. What you are going to do is make a shrine for your partner. This is a good place to start for how to make a shrine. You don't have to make one like that specifically, but it needs to be around 4 inches tall with a base that is at least 3x3inches, and include a small candle (like a birthday cake candle). Essentially, once you get a partner assigned you will take a look at their profile. And I mean a good long look. Once you have done that you will make them a shrine to something that they like. Or, conversely, each person signed up for the swap can leave a message below stating what they would like a shrine for. Examples might be someone who would like a: Jewish themed shrine a get-well shrine for a friend in the hospital a shinto themed shrine a shrine to Eeyore a shrine to a personal saint a shrine to Jon Stewart a shrine for a favorite holiday, country, season, city a shrine to a special event, like a wedding, birth, graduation, etc. Also please understand that in this sense I am calling a shrine 'a collection of items relating to one theme in a unified setting.' This swap isn't meant to be religious unless that's what your partner wants. So take some time and thought for this and send your partner something they will be proud to display. Now for the nitty gritty: Must have a rating of 4.9 for this swap with no 1's or 3's in the past 6 months. Newbies welcome with a well-filled out profile and a PM stating why they want to be in the swap, cause everyone's got to start crafting somewhere. I will be checking profiles as people sign up and I will ban anyone that looks shady to me. |
