You will have three partners and everyone with over a 4.5 rating and newbies are welcome! (with a completed profile) You know how there are certain things in life that happen that are so shocking, or totally make you happy, that you remember just where you were and just what you were doing at the time you heard about it? Well I thought it would be interesting to do a swap with this as a theme. Some examples: Where were you and what were you doing when: John F. Kennedy was shot and died (1963) - or when you heard about it. John Lennon was shot and died (1980) - or when you heard about it. 9/11 happened. (2001) - or when you heard about it. When the first man landed on the moon (1969 - I think) (if you're old enough) Perhaps there are some positive things you can think about to include on the list as well. Make your own list. Think up your own three items and list them and say where you were and what you were doing when they happened, or when you found out about them. And send them to your partners by email. That's one (1) email to each partner = three emails. Some people may be too young to remember some of the examples above, but think up your own; give it a shot. The items can be World events, national events (from your country), or even personal events, if you'd like. You will have three partners with 5 days to sign up and 5 days to send. Please only join if you are going to send. If you have had any no sends or "1's" in the last three months then please do not join, unless you have a good reason and send me a message first. I have to right to ban anybody who does not meet the above requirements. If you would like to get a heart then include another item that you remember or add some extra interesting information about each item. But, it's still up to the recipient as to whether they will give a heart or not. Partners will be assigned as soon as I can get online after the swap ends. This swap is International. If you have any questions feel free to message me or ask below. Newbies are welcome with filled out profiles. No one should join with a 4.5 or lower rating and with NO no-sends within the last three months, please. If you have a lower rating please contact me if you really want to join and really will send. If you join, Please, Please DO send your list to your partners. And please do rate your partners when you receive your list from them. I will ban any questionable swappers. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask below, or send me a message. I will try to come back here to this swap every couple of days at least (more like every day) to check in and answer any questions.

But for those trying to think of ideas: Where were you when the Berlin wall came down? When the space shuttle Challenger went down? When the space shuttle Columbia went down?

Angelstar, I took a peek at that link, it's from a play and the song they are singing relates to where they were and what they were doing when the president was shot (Kennedy, I assume)...so it actually does relate to this swap.....

I guess most of the things we remember like that were sad and shocking things. Some more examples: When your favorite rock/hip hop/rap star died, like George Harrison, TuPac, Jam Master J, or anyone else. When some other famous person died. When Mt St Helens Blew?

You can also add some happy memories at the bottom, as an extra and just for fun. Maybe just a quick list.
Like when your first child was born, when you went to your first concert and saw your favorite band. When you saw the Beatles on TV in 1964. When you sat in front of your first computer. Things like that. You obviously don't have to say what you were doing, but where you were.
Or use some of these for one of your three things, if you think it's appropriate. Maybe you were at a friend's house when you saw and used your first computer, or something.....

Yeah, angelstar, the reason I can remember is because my cousin was born within a few days of his assasination, in 63,and I wasn't born until March of 64, so she always had the dubious distinction of being "older" than me, and therefore "wiser" in her eyes..hahahaha....
